Kitchen design and equipment sourcing

The Westminster Central Hall is a multi-purpose building located just behind Parliament Square in central London. Completed in 1911, the imposing structure is used as a Methodist church, a conference and exhibition centre, an art gallery, an office building and a tourist attraction. The Great Hall seats up to 2,352 people. With more than 30 meeting rooms and a restaurant open to the general public – Wesley’s Cafe – the catering and hospitality operation at Westminster Central Hall a thriving department, lead by award winning Head Chef Earl White.

Central HallWhen the time came to replace heavy equipment in the main kitchen and cafe operation, Central Hall turned to Radford Chancellor for assistance. After discussing service requirements with management, Radford Chancellor re-designed the cook-line in the kitchen for Wesley’s cafe, adding a new combi oven to increase the efficiency of the kitchen and the flexibility of the menu. Radford Chancellor also oversaw the installation of new gas interlock system, to bring the outdated extraction system into compliance with modern legislation.
